Everyone loves the Big Top! But how can you bring a Barnum and Bailey three ring circus to a corporate family day? Close an airport, erect bright striped carnival tents, provide elephant and camel strolls, and install amusement rides. Next mix in a carousel, funnel cakes, a high wire act, jugglers and a dog and pony show... what do you have? Family appreciation day for 1500 excited guests!

The closing of an airport in Columbus was the beginning of the logistical challenges. A combination of technical installations and traditional family elements were all part of the event. Guests traveled through the midway of carnival games, pausing at any of the three, full-scale three ring circus acts, enhanced with unicyclists, balloonists and puppeteers. For more thrills, each participant could ride the tilt-a-whirl, experience a flight simulator or oversee the entire event from a bird’s eye view by taking an airplane expedition. The fabulous day was filled with food and fun, once-in-a-lifetime adventures and priceless time spent with family and friends. And how do you top off an event like that? You produce a 30 minute fireworks display that few will ever have the opportunity to experience again
