Dazzling Destination Weddings: And what do you say to the bride that doesn’t want the typical white aisle runner or the church wedding? It's destination time!
The Castle The first time we met the bride-to-be, we noted that this enchanting bride wanted to feel like a Princess on her special day! So, why not find a 400 year old castle, 2 men in suits of armor, miniature highland cattle, all on an Irish hillside?! And that’s just what we did for 24 guests. BUT, what about the other friends and family back home that were not in Ireland for the wedding ceremony? We found a venue in the couple’s hometown where we could actually rebuild the Irish Castle, complete with towers, turrets and a draw-bridge! Nearly 2 months after the wedding ceremony, a reception for all 350 friends and family was held to experience the same magic that the 24 guests felt in Ireland on that very special wedding day. And to really relive and maximize the Ireland experience of the Princess wedding at the castle, all video and pictures from the destination ceremony were programmed and projected for playback in all of the windows of the reception castle setting for all guests to enjoy! |
The Volcano A VERY small percentage of brides really push us to think way outside the box! Not only were the bride and groom in that percentage…they were quite adventurous! Having traveled to the Hawaiian Islands with family during their childhoods, they had always been mesmerized and drawn back to the Islands. And when you mix an advertising designer bride with a theatrical major groom, something eye-opening is bound to drop out of the sky! And literally it did! The wedding ceremony and reception were planned on a cliff-side, oceanfront setting, surrounding an ancient inactive volcano. The 115 guests arrived in all-white attire, a dramatic visual against the lush landscape. Guests went by horseback down into the volcano center, which was cleared and redressed with seating for the ceremony. Hawaiian musicians performed a ceremonial island wedding overture as seated wedding guests watched the entrance of the bridal party. On cue (and without anyone knowing except the bride and EventCo), our helicopter cleared its way over the upper mangroves of the volcano carrying a 95 foot drop line under this ‘flying limousine’…with the bride in gown and attached in mid-air!! She was strategically lowered into place exactly at the ceremony area, with the groom in tears and guests applauding and cheering hysterically! A special delivery for a very special bride and groom! |

The ceremony concluded with tropical perfection and |

guests were taken by horseback back to the top of the volcano. While they had been in the service,
EventCo had quickly and magically set the cliff-side setting for a beautiful sunset reception and dinner! Fire dancers, sunset cocktails and a feast of the Islands! A once in a lifetime experience that will be talked about with the newlywed’s family for many generations!!
